I started building Mammavenn and FellowU from two different questions that lead to the same place: why can being surrounded by people still feel lonely?
Two communities, one human need
Mammavenn helps parents find friendship, local meetups and people who understand everyday family life. FellowU explores the same need on campus, where students can discover people with shared context and join small, low-pressure plans.
They are not built to reward popularity. They are built to make the first hello feel easier.
What I am learning
The difficult part is rarely adding another feature. It is deciding what deserves to be simple, what needs to feel safe and what should stay private by default. Every test reveals something that a wireframe cannot.
This journal is where I will share those decisions honestly: the designs that changed, the bugs that mattered, the launches that felt bigger than expected and the small improvements that made the products more useful.
I am building in public because useful products are shaped through real conversations — not behind a perfect launch story.
